My career as a physician assistant started in 1999 in women’s health. I was fortunate to work alongside a physician who was passionate about education. Dr. McLeod molded me into the provider I’ve become and taught me how to care for patients with empathy, compassion, and knowledge based on current studies. At age 27, menopause was not relevant in my world, but I watched and listened to him take care of women during a difficult transition in life. Now, at 53, I live it and share that same passion. I want all women to have access to accurate and current information regarding menopause management and to understand their treatment options.
