Cardiologists:
Deepak Banerjee, MD, FSCAI, RPVI
Dr. Banerjee completed his general and interventional cardiology training at MCV-VCU, Richmond, VA in 2005. He relocated to Martinsville from the Hampton Roads area in 2010 and has called it home ever since. He co-founded our sister company Stateline Aesthetics with Karen Garrett. He is board certified in both general and interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology as well as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He is on active staff at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA and LewisGale Medical Center, Salem, VA. His expertise includes evaluation and treatment of all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. He also specializes in vein procedures including endovenous ablation, sclerotherapy and phlebectomy. He is passionate about teaching and believes that 'knowledge failed to pass on is knowledge lost.' In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing tennis, taking long walks and traveling.
Abdul Haji, MD
Abdul Q. Haji, MD, specializes in general cardiology and electrophysiology, including catheter ablations and pacemaker and defibrillator implantation to treat arrhythmias and other conditions. He received his medical degree from Kashmir University in India, residency and general cardiology training from Nassau University Medical Center affiliated with SUNY Stony Brook in 1998 and electrophysiology training at SUNY Downstate Medical center in 2000 and is board certified in both general cardiology and electrophysiology. He relocated to Martinsville from Northern Virginia where he worked in private practice and also for the Veterans Administration. He has authored multiple papers published in the leading cardiovascular journals. In his free time, Dr. Haji enjoys studying literature, biking and most of all, enjoys his role as a father.
Linda Soqui, FNP-C
Linda Soqui, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Services. She graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Radford University. Before becoming a provider, Linda was a registered nurse with more than 15 years of experience in outpatient surgery, endoscopy, emergency department, and a specialty practice office in Martinsville, VA and Wilmington, NC. In her free time, Linda enjoys spending time with her son and their 2 doodle pups.

Karen Garrett, PA-C
Karen Garrett is a Virginia native and has lived in Martinsville for almost 30 years. She co-founded our sister company Stateline Aesthetics with Dr. Banerjee. She completed her undergraduate degree at Guilford College with a double major in biology and chemistry. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine with honors in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in adult medicine with a special interest in women's health and almost 10 years in aesthetic medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two legged and four legged children, traveling with her family and friends and is constantly learning. "Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching."
Megan Hudson, FNP-C
Megan Hudson, FNP-C is a Martinsville native who comes to us with 7 years of experience as a registered nurse in various clinical settings. She received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Radford University, and Associate Degree Nurse (RN) from Patrick & Henry Community College. She is Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Megan looks forward to caring for patients and contributing to the health of her community, one patient at a time. When she is not at the office, Megan can be found spending time with her husband and three small children.
Cori Neal, PA-C
Cori Neal recently relocated to Martinsville from Lynchburg, VA, where she spent the last three years. She grew up a couple counties over in Halifax County, and completed her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, majoring in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise with a minor in Public Health. She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Medicine from the University of Lynchburg. Prior to PA school, Cori gained valuable experience working in orthopedic surgery. She has a strong passion for internal medicine, women’s health, and aesthetics. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her friends and family, relaxing by the lake, and spending time outdoors.
